SRPO PROGRAMS - AGRICULTURE & LIVESTOCK

Sindh Rural Partners Organization (SRPO) is working with communities to promote livestock-dependent livelihood in Sindh province, as milk, yogurt and other products are considered sources of nutrition for children and their mothers. SRPO in collaboration with Sindh government and the partners has completed different projects, including livestock farm management, distribution of small animals (goats) to deserving women farmers, provision of fodder, imparting trainings to community youth on increasing milk productivity, curing viral infections in animals, community level capacity building and marketing mechanism in different districts. Adapting value chain approach in this major economic sector is key area, in which SRPO provides trainings to community herders to increase sources of income.
