On behalf of Sindh Rural Partners Organization (SRPO), I reach out with an urgent appeal for support in the wake of the devastating floods of 2025 that have severely affected multiple districts of Sindh province.
This year’s heavy monsoon rains and water inflows have inundated vast riverine (katcha) areas, forcing
thousands of families to abandon their homes and livelihoods. Villages across districts such as Qambar
Shahdadkot, Larkana, Dadu, Khairpur, and Sukkur are submerged, leaving vulnerable communities stranded without shelter, food, or medical assistance. The scale of devastation has overwhelmed local resources, and immediate rescue operations are critically needed.
SRPO is urgently working on the ground to rescue families to safe places, provide temporary shelter, and
respond to immediate needs. However, given the extent of the crisis, we cannot do it alone.
We urgently request your kind support in the following areas:
Rescue operations: boats, life jackets, fuel, and trained volunteers to evacuate stranded families.
Emergency relief: safe drinking water, dry food items, and hygiene kits.
Shelter assistance: tents, tarpaulins, and bedding materials for displaced populations.
Medical care: first aid kits, medicines, and mobile medical camps to prevent disease outbreaks.
Your timely donation can help save lives and ensure that families trapped in riverine areas are brought to
safety before conditions worsen. Every contribution—financial or in-kind—will directly support those in urgent need.
SRPO has been responding to disasters in Sindh for over two decades, working with government authorities, humanitarian partners, and local communities. Today, we once again appeal for your solidarity to protect lives, dignity, and hope for the flood-affected people of Sindh.
